Description:
Originally designed as a nine-hole course, Gander Golf Club is now amongst the most challenging and scenic 18 hole courses in the province. Set on the rolling hills along the Gander Lake, the newly designed course will open for the 2001 golf season. As characteristic of the original nine holes, the course provides large sculptured greens surrounded by large, deep, strategically placed sand traps. A modern clubhouse overlooking the lake with full restaurant and bar provides a relaxing setting once you complete a round at Gander Golf Club. The course is located off the Trans Canada Highway in Gander where several accommodation and restaurant options are available.
